Where’s the roof?

Your postcode sets your MCS irradiance zone — the official sunlight data every certified quote is built on.

What kind of roof is it?

Rough answer is fine — the survey confirms it.

When does your garden get the sun?

Easier than compass directions — we confirm the exact roof angles from satellite imagery anyway.

What’s your monthly electricity bill?

Your best guess — this sets your usage and the system size we’d suggest.

Who’s home during the day?

This is the official MCS question — it decides how much of your generation you’ll use yourself.

Interested in battery storage?

Batteries store daytime power for the evening — strongest case if you’re out during the day.

On us

A free EPC with every installation.

Why do we do this? Because we want to show you the immediate impact installing solar has on your property — and we’re happy to pay for it.

Your home’s improvement, made official

Once your installation is complete, we arrange an EPC survey of your property at our cost. Your new rating is lodged with the official EPC Register — the document every buyer, lender and letting check looks at — putting your home’s improved efficiency on the record and adding that immediate impact to your home’s value.

Before you ask

The questions everyone asks. Answered straight.

Does solar actually work with Welsh weather?

Yes — panels generate from daylight, not sunshine. Our projections use 10 years of local weather data, so the estimate already assumes Welsh skies. A 4 kWp system in South Wales typically generates 3,400–3,700 kWh a year.

What does it cost, really?

Most panel-only installs land between £5,500 and £8,500; adding a battery typically brings the total to £9,500–£13,500 — fully installed, VAT-free, scaffolding, paperwork and your free EPC included. The number in writing is the number you pay.

Should I get a battery?

Honest answer: it depends who’s home. Out all day? A battery stores daytime generation for the evening and can lift savings meaningfully. Home most days? Panels alone often make more sense. We model both and show you the difference.

Can I spread the cost?

Not through us, deliberately. The “interest-free” deals common in this industry often hide their cost in the system price, and we’d rather compete on the price itself. Pay outright, through your bank, or via your mortgage — our quote is the same number regardless, and we’ll point you to independent FCA-regulated advice if you want help comparing.

What if my roof isn’t suitable?

Then we’ll tell you, plainly, and you’ll have lost 20 minutes. Some surveys end with us advising against solar — we’d rather lose the job than install a system that underperforms with our name on it.

To last light

Your roof has been on shift all day. Time it started earning.

Thirty seconds to see your numbers. A free survey. One fixed quote with a free EPC. And the VAT-free window won’t wait forever.
